The Olivier Bréaud International Golf Course
Located on the west side of Tahiti just between the mountains and lagoon, the Olivier Bréaud International Golf Course, offers a spectacular 18-hole fairway set in rich tropical and colorful vegetation. It has been noted by golf enthusiasts as "Tahiti's best kept secret."
The Olivier Bréaud d' Atimaono golf course is accessible to both beginners and experienced players. Fairways and greens are framed by the extraordinary beauty of the South Pacific .
The 6,507-ft. long, par 72 d' Atimaono golf course has become a destination for golfers from all around the world . As a French Federation accredited course, d' Atimaono is host each year the "Tahiti Open International" in July and is now part of the Australian PGA circuit.
The Club House is open every day from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Round trip transfers between hotels and the course are provided. (more info on how to reserve, etc)
Moorea Green Pearl Golf Course
The Moorea Green Pearl Golf Course, a Jack Nicklaus design, was built on the lush island of Moorea, in Temae. Perfectly located between lagoons and mountains, the unique architecture of the international golf course will please professional golfers and amateurs alike , due to its numerous bunkers , stretches of water and driving range over the lake.
Nicknamed the "Green Pearl" in reference to the emerald green fairways and the lush valleys of Moorea, add in the tropical palms, deep blue lagoons, and multi hued flowers and players' strokes vibrate intense colors that seem nearly artificial.
The 18 holes (par 70 /6,632 yards long) are strategically located on the hillsides and border of the lakes and the beach. This combination of various landscapes makes it technical, attractive and unique to the islands of Tahiti.
The signature hole on the back nine's mountain side provides a magnificent view of the course, lagoons, and Moorea's sister island of Tahiti across the Sea of the Moon.
The Moorea Green Pearl Golf Course is the second golf course in French Polynesia , following the Olivier Bréaud International Golf Course, a par 72 (6,507-ft.) course located in the Atimaono area of Tahiti's south coast between Papara and Mataiea.
