Getting To and Around Tikehau
Tikehau is served by Air Tahiti with frequent non-stop
and one-stop flights from Papeete and regular flights
from Rangiroa.

The non-stop flight time from Papeete is fifty five
minutes and the flight time from Rangiroa is twenty
minutes.
The airport is located between the resort and the
main village of Tuherahera. Transport to and from
the airport can be reserved by your travel arranger
and the resort. Visiting the main village requires
a boat and can be arranged by the resort.
With barely a few miles of roads, there is no need
for public transportation. For venturing around
the village area, walking, scooters, or bicycles
are typical and enjoyable. For exploring the lagoon
and surrounding motu, motorboat, canoe,
and sailboat rentals or charters are available from
the resort or in the village. |
