LOS ANGELES, CA, June 2, 2008 - In honor of its 10th year in service, Air Tahiti Nui is welcoming all past travelers to Tahiti and Her Islands with a Return to Paradise anniversary sale. With proof of a past French Polynesia visit, passengers receive one free companion ticket when they buy one roundtrip economy ticket. The limited time offer is valid on bookings made by June 30, 2008 for flights from Los Angeles (from $1,348*) and New York (from $1,668*) to Tahiti between August 18 and September 24, 2008.

Proof of travel comes in two forms.  Guests can either show a copy of their passport page with the Tahiti entry stamp or a photo of themselves at a recognizable landmark in French Polynesia, like an overwater bungalow.  The anniversary special is open to anyone who has been to Tahiti before, regardless of carrier used for their previous travel or length of time since their last visit.  

There is a 10-day maximum stay; the companion is only responsible for government taxes and fuel surcharges of approximately $317.  Both passengers (paid and free) must travel together on the whole journey.
