Howling cave
This tourist site is located between the communes of Papenoo and Tiarei.
In the past, it was known as Anahoho “the cave that howls”. Today, it is known as the “Blower’s Hole”, due to the noise and air pressure created when the ocean enters the underwater cavern.
Due to weather damage, the Trou du Souffleur site will be closed indefinitely.
