Located 3.5 kilometers from the ferry dock, the To'atea viewpoint offers panoramic views of Temae public beach on the left, the island of Tahiti opposite and the Sofitel Ia Ora Beach bungalows on stilts on the right.

3.5 kilomètres from the ferry quay, the scenic viewpoint at To'atea offers a panoramic view over the public beach of Temae to the left, the island of Tahiti in front and the overwater bungalows of the hotel Sofitel Ia Ora Beach to the right. You can also admire the different shades of blue in Moorea's lagoon and the bay of Vaiare. There is a commemorative stone in memory of the victims of the air crash of an Air Moorea plane on August 9, 2007. The scenic viewpoint at To'atea is easy to get to, being directly above the public beach at Temae.
