Getting there and getting around
There is a vast choice of transport options for getting around in Tahiti, from taxi and bus service to car and motor scooter rental. Transfers from the Tahiti-Faa’a airport should be organized with your accommodations or travel agent when you book. Domestic flights to the islands with Air Tahiti and Air Moana also leave from Faa’a International Airport in Tahiti. You can catch a ferry to Moorea from the ferry terminal in Papeete several times a day. There are also ferries to the other Society Islands from Tahiti.
