Tombant St Etienne

Just off the coast at Taapuna in Punaauia, Le Tombant St Etienne (St Etienne drop-off) consists of several vertical walls which present a rich variety of underwater flora and fauna for experienced divers (sea turtles, tortues, napoleons, soles, red snapper and a multitude of tropical fish). About 10 minutes by boat, the site descends to a depth of about 60 meters. Its possible to drift dive as far as the St Etienne rift.
