Coco Beach Moorea

Coco Beach restaurant is on motu Tiahura in the northwest of the island. It is a family restaurant serving excellent cuisine in a dreamlike setting. Grilled steak, poisson cru, and a variety of mixed salads are part of an extensive menu. The restaurant also has a large choice of cocktails, with or without alcohol.

Restaurant K in Moorea has a refined menu and an elegant decor in a lovely wooded glade. Ideal for a special occasion, it is recommended to reserve a table well in advance. The restaurant is part of the Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort, near to the quayside at Vaiare. It has a superb, South Sea island view over the lagoon.

Arii Vahine

Part of the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa, the Arii Vahine restaurant has a rich and varied menu. The setting is idyllic, with superb views over the lagoon. Non-guests are welcome to the restaurant, althoughit is a good idea to reserve in advance.

Holy Steak House

A refined restaurant with steak its speciality, although there is also a large choice of fish dishes on the menu. Situated on the mountain side of the road at Tiahura, the convivial atmosphere makes it an ideal place for dinner after a sunset excursion to the sandbank.

Taoahere Beach House 

Taoahere Beach House is a hotel, a restaurant and a bar all in one. Just a few minutes from Tipaniers beach, the specialities include fish tartar, a selection of tapas and a choice of delicious fresh fruit cocktails. There is usually live music to enjoy in the evenings.

A typical Polynesian restaurant serving mostly grilled fish dishes and poisson cru. When it’s in season, you can also try some delicious kaveu, the coconut crab. An address not to be missed during your stay in Moorea.

Moorea Beach Cafe has an extremely varied menu, with something for everyone. Situated at the roadside in Maharepa, it’s a great spot to watch the sunset after a day on the lagoon. The views are as stunnaing as any that you can find in Bora Bora.

Sweet and savory pancakes served on a terrace over the lagoon. The Crêperie Taotea is part of the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa. You can admire the sharks swimming below as you enjoy your meal, before savouring a delicious cocktail in this privileged setting. An ideal restaurant for a romantic dinner for two.

Casa Vincenzo

Casa Vincenzo is an Italian restaurant next to the public beach at Tiahura. It is reputed to be the best Italian restaurant on the island. Delicious pizza and pasta in a very pleasant setting, with a choice of cocktails to follow.

Moorea Food Tour

The best way to get an insight into typical Polynesian cuisine, is to go on the Moorea Food Tour. Your guide will explain the local dishes and tell you how they are prepared. He’ll also be able to identify the more exotic ingredients. Tama’a maitai!
