Hiking in Bora Bora

Hiking is a very popular activity on the island of Bora Bora. A professional guide will take you into the mountainous interior to discover some surprising sites and breathtaking sights. We recommend the trail to Mount Popoti in the north of the island, the traversière cross-island trail to the Nunu’e Antenna, Anau cave at the foot of Mount Otemanu, the Valley of Kings and the discovery trail to the sites of the WW2 canons left by the American military after Operation Bobcat.

Boat trip on the lagoon

Several companies propose full-day excursions on the lagoon that include swimming with manta rays, snorkeling in coral gardens, a picnic lunch and a tour round the whole island. You can also explore the lagoon by paddleboard, kayak or jetski if you prefer to go your own way.

There are lots of motu around the lagoon of Bora Bora, and there’s nothing quite like a day’s excursion to explore some of them. Go swimming and snorkeling in the warm clear waters of these tiny island paradises. and for lunch, you’ll be served a delicious picnic at the water’s edge with poisson cru  and fresh tropical fruit.
